I'm sorry honey, but were you raised in a barn?

I LOVE my hubs...dearly, I really do!!!  He's my soul mate for sure...we finish each others sentences, he often says whats on my mind even when we haven't even been talking about whats on my mind (that still weirds me out:))..and most importantly he's the best da da ever (even though Addie's not saying that yet - i know she's thinking it)  BUT, and I know that alot of men are like this so I'm hoping a lot of ya'll can relate, I seriously want to ask him if he was raised in a barn.  To my point - here are a few things I often find in the morning that puzzle me:

Jeans (and the boxers I kindly removed) on the floor like he just stepped out of them the night before:

Toilet seat up as if he's the only one that lives here:
Photobucket
Toothpaste left in the sink as if he squirted the tube in there:
Photobucket
Empty splenda packets on the counter because the two feet to the trash is just too far:
Photobucket
I'm sure there's more I'm forgetting - it's been better since we had a dog house shed built for him last year where he can store all of his stuff instead of hogging the garage but the everyday stuff just kills me some days.  Fortunately, he goes into work almost before I get up in the morning so he doesn't have to bear my immediate reaction to this stuff...which generally isn't pleasant:)

Ha ha! I think they do those types of things to drive us crazy! My favorite is a dish or glass that is just left out. It never seems to find its way to the dishwasher!

I feel your pain girl. My husband does the same thing. It drives my controlling self up the wall.

The best is when I walk in the kitchen and all of the cabinets are open. UGH!!! WHY?!

i can't complain in this area. My husband is not messy. I mean he will occasionally leave dishes in the sink but he helps out more then he leaves the mess. I am lucky! :)

Did my hubs teach your hubs those bad tricks? No? I guess it must just be a natural affliction of the male species!

O-M-G! The clothes left next to the bed drive me nuts and the toothpaste in the sink - ahhhhh!!!! This post is so funny! Classic! But, we love them to pieces :)

The just-stepped-out-of-jeans are the best. Says so much, haha.

haha.
#1. I'M the person who opens all the cabinets in the kitchen and leaves them open (drove my college roommates nuts for sure)
#2. The toilet seat was a HUGE issue for us. HUGE! Then Charlie got big enough to play in the water- grossest thing ever. So we both agreed the lid needs to be down and whoever got caught forgetting had to do the dishes. Once you forgot (and got caught) 5 times we had a major punishment (a reward for the other person- something the offender didn't want could be purchased). Anyway, it took about a month and now we both have no problem remembering to close the lid. woohoo!

Now, what to do about the splenda packets...

I can totally relate and I love my husband more than words could ever express. I too have the same issue with him and his jeans and boxers. I had a small cranky wife fest a few weeks ago about how I feel like our house is never clean and he's been awesome since then. Not sure what I said or did, but it worked.
I can't complain too much though, because I have definitely heard worse stories. At least he helps out, that's all I can ask :)

PPPffffff you don't want me to even begin to post some pics of my house with the things left around and not tended to. CRAZY, I swear it is something in their DNA or something.

OMGGGGGGG!!!!!!! Sooooo with you, mama! Sometimes, I say to my hubby, "When did you think it was ok to stop woo-ing me?!?!" Now, whnever I go to use the bathroom, and the seat is up, as long as Gwen is awake, I close it, (let it drop) LOUDLY! He laughs, and apoplogizes! These things weren't a problem when we were dating... lol.

Ba haha ha ha what did S think of this post?

Sadly I am the same way about the stuff on the kitchen counter. Only difference is, I end up cleaning it up!!! :)

Happy Monday chica!!

Oh, for me it's the spoon my hubs uses in the morning to stir his coffee or the pack of gum that he leaves in his pocket that ultimately goes through the dryer. Although, when I say "Where you raised in a barn?!", he just laughs. He grew up on a farm, so close enough :)

Did our husbands grow up together?! Or maybe they go through a class before marriage entitled "Ways to drive your wife crazy". Either way, he does the same exact stuff! I will say today he actually picked up his boxers and put them in the dirty laundry. I don't know what to think about that!

OH my......sounds like my house, How about the jeans with the underwear AND belt still in it brought down on laundry day.....or the empty cup, left in the refrigerator because it is just such a chore to take three steps back and put it in the EMPTY dishwasher!! Don;t we just love those boys(men) :-) !!
