Bye-Bye Baby Weight - Week 1

PhotobucketMy bloggy friend Tami, over at Little Moments Like This, who just recently welcomed precious little Emerson into this world and is an amazing momma started a wonderful new weekly link-up for all of us momma's that are trying to shed those pesky pregnancy pounds.  I've been saying to myself that I need to partake in this to help hold myself accountable to my goal of getting back down to my wedding weight (yes, the 25 pounds I gained between my wedding day and the start of my pregnancy are part of my planned weight loss) so I'm starting this week.  I figured I'd start by putting my goals out there...as well as some pictures of where I'm starting (I found one from mother's day which was around the time I started really getting serious about all of this) and where I want to be by Thanksgiving...

This weeks goals:
1.  Eat dessert no more than 2 times this week (sweets are my weakness)
2.  Eat at least 2 servings of fruit a day
3.  Work out 3 times this week

Long-range goals:
1.  Lose 25 pounds
2.  Consume more fruit and water
3.  Workout 3 times per week

I'm so glad you joined in! Those are great goals. For me, working out really helps me stay on track with eating too. When I work hard I don't want to ruin it by eating junk. :)

Awesome goals! :) I like the short term and long term. Give you something to work for NOW and they add up to LATER.
