Seriously...

YAY! for fun new link-ups! I'm joining from Mrs. to Mama and linking up for an opportunity to share everything that has made me say, "Seriously..." this week (and anyone that knows me - knows I use "seriously" in my speech almost as much as "like" - maybe that makes me a valley girl:))

Seriously...did I really gain a pound between Saturday and Wendesday despite three trips to the gym and some serious calorie cutting.  Talk about a smack in the face - last night after spending some quality time on the eliptical, I jumped on the scale - only to find it read +1 pound of my Satuday weight - huh?! I didn't think it was supposed to work that way...

Seriously...did Addie really poop in her tub last night mid bath???  This is the second time this week this child has decided to let it all out outside of her diaper.  Is my 7 1/2 month old telling me she wants to be potty trained?!  Ha!  I know thats not the case but whats with the new trend of pooping outside of the diaper - first it was on her changing pad which is now in her crib because shes not safe anywhere else while I was trying to change her wet diaper and now in the tub...

Seriously...is Memorial Day weekend really next weekend??  This has always marked the start of summer in my mind and while Addie has 6 bathing suits (I'm sorry - I just couldn't help myself) I don't even have one nor have we joined a neighborhood pool to have a place to go swimming (other than the itty bitty baby pool Addie got from the Easter Bunny) - looks like I have some work to do pronto!

Gas_Prices.512.512.jpgSeriously...did I really pay $90 yesterday to fill up our truck with gas???  I can think of about 9 bazillion places I would have rather spent that money - I mean, really $90 - that hurts.  I'm not even mad about it anymore...just disappointed (remember when your parents said that to you and that hurt more than getting yelled at ?)
Seriously...does my daughter really look like a boy???  I know she doesn't have much hair to speak of but the last couple of times we have been to the store-with Addie dressed in PINK! - I've had people say "aaww, HE's adorable..how old is HE??"  More hair bows...more hair bows.

Head on over to Mrs. to Mama and share what you're saying "seriously.." to today or just head over for some good laughs!!

What a cute blog! Over from Becky's blog hop! Girl it doesn' matter if you have bright pink and the biggest hairbow you can find in your little girls hair some elderly person is gonna say "he" is so cute...for real that happened to us LOL...

I had a gazillion swimsuits for Kelcee too on her first summer baby swimsuits are just to adorable to resist...

Uggg that is frustrating to work so hard and see plus 1 but think of it this way you gained muscle and muscle is good :)

love your blog

HYSTERICAL! First, remember that muscle weighs more than fat... so sometimes, I have to ignore the scale and just base my success on how I feel/look/fit in clothes! I have NO words for the tub poop, just lol, and I'm sorry :) And Gwen encounters the SAME problem, being called a he... AND SHE HAS HER EARS PIERCED!!! Ahh! I like this idea, I might pick it up!

Haha oh no! Sounds like you have had a crazy week. First I hate scales! I say we just chuck them all. I am in the same boat as you, lose then gain, gain then lose. Its stupid and I hate this cutting calorie thing..ugh! And pooping in the tub. So not fun. I have always wonder what I was going to do if C did this. Please tell me what you did to get it out. Yucky.

Code browns are my BIGGEST nightmare- thankfully we haven't had any yet, but you know, with kids? never say never!

The whole "parental disappointment" thing? THE WORST. On the few occasions when my Dad would say, "I'm not mad, AP, I'm just so disappointed.." It was like a bazillion knife jabs to the gut. Worst feeling ever..

and gas prices? Major tears. I always think of how many pairs of shoes I could have bought (TB Thoras, Jack Rogers, etc) everytime I'm at the pump.. It's terrible!

Happy Thursday, Mama!

As a non-mom, I am TERRIFIED of getting the baby gender wrong. I'm ALWAYS like "oh, your baby is so cute", and then to the baby, "what's your name, Cutie?". Works like a charm!!

Maybe the 1lb is muscle? Even if it's not, just go with that!!

Haha. Love this. Seriously is one of my favorite words.....drives my husband crazy.

And someone called Jamie a "she" last week. I guess his hair is getting kinda long and he has a "pretty" face, but seriously.....he looks like all boy to me!

Your baby does not look like a boy! She looks like a little girl even without pink or bows! I know gas prices are so freakin' crazy...I can't wait to see pics of those cute little swimsuits for Addie!

Fun! I haven't seen this link up before, and I'm loving it!

Don't stress about that pound...weight fluctuates, and it's not an actual weight gain.

I love you and I love Mrs Mama!!

WHY OH WHY is gaining weight SO MUCH EASIER than losing? HUH?

I. hate. bathtub. poop. it disentigrates right away. (totally spelled that wrong but dont have time to go to spellcheck.com)

eeek!! 90 for gas? I have an SUV, and I also have a gas card, and the gas card never tells me who much the total price is, thank GOD.

Seriously? did like 5 people tell me today that my boy is "such a cute little girl?" FIVE TIMES!
