seriously...

Joining in with one of my favorite mommas...Becky over at "From Mrs. to Mama" for "Seriously?!" Thursdays to spill everything that's got me saying "seriously?!" this week!

SERIOUSLY...chicken wings for breakfast???  I kid you not...yesterday while waiting for the train at approximately 8:15am, the dude next to me was eating chicken wings...from none other than good ole' 7-11. 

SERIOUSLY...why do people make empty promises?  I'm very grateful for all of the wonderful favors my friends and family do for me...and I feel like for the most part I'm pretty good at returning the favor.  But offering to do something and then not following through and not even acknowledging that you offered to do it and now you're not is really disheartning.

SERIOUSLY...is Addie really going to be 1 next week...I swear I just had her 6 months ago - where has the time gone?!

SERIOUSLY...could I be any happier that Pumpkin Spice Lattes are back at Starbucks.  I've had several over the last few weeks and they were so worth the wait!!!

SERIOUSLY...is the high here really only going to be 63 on Sunday...and I totally mean that in a "Oh fall, I'm so glad you are finally winning the battle over Mrs. Summer who has worn out her welcome in these parts of the world."

throw pillows - Is a pile of fluff really that expensive???  Why are these things SO overpriced???

why does the cat post up on my side of the bed - every night I wrestle our rather large kitty who has claws and is willing to use them to defend what he considers his side of the bed.  I'm usually last to bed so its always dark and I'm trying to avoid the flying claws and sneak into bed - I'm sure its a sight.  Apparently he's paying the mortgage and I just didn't know...silly me.

Fathers day is really this weekend - yikes...I've got some card shopping to do.  Luckily the hubs and I rarely surprise each other - we generally either purchase something we have been eyeing or go joint on something for the house.  The hubs decided he needed a new golf bag...easy enough!  My dad shares the same golf obsession love as the hubs so he will be getting golf-related gifts as well!

Do you think i have enough social media in my life?  I just recently took the plunge and joined Twitter and Pinterest - both of which I enjoy...especially Pinterest.  I've found it extremely helpful for Addie's party planning...but my computer time is increasing ten fold - that's not so good.

Seriously...is it really 9,000 degrees outside ALREADY??  Ya'll...Addie and I joined this hot momma and baby Trey at the pool yesterday and the water in the big pool (not the baby pool) was already starting to feel like bath water.  WHAT?  This usually doesn't happen until at least July but due to the insanely hot weather we've had here lately...the pool was warm! 


Seriously...could my little girl be any more of a water bug...I was a pool girl growing up (did all of the year-round swim team stuff, lifeguarded, taught swim lessons and coached swimming...blah, blah, blah) but I was terrified Addie might not like the pool but she LOVES it!!!  Looks like she's going to be more a pool girl than a golf girl when it comes to summer lovin' - sorry hubs - she get's it from her momma:)

Seriously...did someone really give me a blog award???  My friend Elizabeth over at This Little Blog of Mine awarded me the sunshine award - which really means so much.  I try to keep things real and informative around here and it means so much to have someone give me a shout out:)  Elizabeth has an absolutely adorable blog - I love catching up on her and her hubs and pooches goings on - you should def go read.  And to fullfill the rules of the award I'm going to tell you something fun about myself and because I can't pick 10 other blogs to give the award too...I know I'm a wuss - but ya'll I really LOVE all of the blogs I read - SERIOUSLY:)  I spend ALOT of time blogging - which usually earns me dirty looks from the hubs in the evening when I have my nose stuck in my computer.  Check out my sidebar which has all my favorite blogs and head over to check out everything they've got going on - promise you won't be disappointed!!  And for something fun about me - hhhmmm...I LOVE to sing aloud in my car - yep, you can pass me on the interstate and no - I'm not talking on the celly hands free - I'm likely singing along to some favorite current pop!!

Seriously...staying home this week with the girl on vacation from the jobby job has been the best ever!!!  We've had so much fun and I just love playing with her ALL.DAY.LONG....because seriously, this kid is not a big fan of naps!

Joining for another week of "seriously..." with mrs. to mama to share everything that has me saying "seriously" this week...

Seriously...did I really send my beloved pedometer through the wash???  The hubs informed me last night that while hanging some of our delicates out to air dry he found my pedometer attached to a pair of my pants.  I'm hoping maybe it will dry out, but realistically mourning its loss.  Guess I'll be coughing up some dough this time to get myself another one

Seriously...was Starbucks really out of the Trenta size cups for my new favorite Trenta sized ice coffee...talk about a sad girl this morning when they told me I'd have to settle for the Venti.

Seriously....is the Trenta size really my go-to drink now?  Who really needs that much coffee in the morning...I'm starting to think I might be forming a dependency here...thats no good.

Seriously...did I really see a BRAND NEW Mercedes SUV on the side of the road receiving gas from the Highway breakdown squad (I know they have a much more technical term for these people but I don't know what it is).  I mean really, you just bought an, I'm guessing, $80k vehicle....but the gas is just too much?!?

Seriously...it's really Memorial Day weekend - and this girl has a perma-grin on her face.  I'm doing a stay-cation next week so I'm really looking forward to the week off from work and getting to spend lots of time with my girl.  Fingers crossed the weather is nice next week
